Everyone loves the Count from Seasame Street, the vampire who loves to count! He’ll count anything and everything no matter how big or small, or how much it annoys the other muppets! His triumphant laugh and jaunty monocle have been around since the 1970s, and now you can have a cuddly plush version of him. Forbidden Planet have a 30cm Count Plush toy for just £17.99. He’s just so cute I must have one!

Elmo Live! – the video

He’s in stock and on a video – I’m so excited I’m hopping up and down as I attempt to write this! The kind boys at Firebox have given us a video of the crazy Sesame Street muppet in action, and have announced that they will have him in stock by Thursday of this week. Prezzybox are already selling him here, so there is a chance you can get him even sooner! The excitement is almost too much to bare…If I’m this excitable now, just think what I’m like on Christmas eve!

Yes, I’m overly excited by this toy – but who can blame me. Anyway, all I wanted to do was let you all know that Elmo Live is now in stock or available for preorder at several stores.

THE best Elmo toy EVER…I hope

I don’t care if it isn’t Christmas for another 99 days (ish, who’s counting…) but I want Santa to bring me one of these! The latest incarnation of Sesame Street’s Elmo is as alive as you could make him. Elmo’s mouth opens and closes just like the ‘real’ muppet when he talks, and his mannerisms are…well I believe it’s the real Elmo in the video – but you tell me what you think.

He sits down, crosses his legs, tells stories and jokes, sings and even hugs you. Hopefully we’ll get one to review in the fuzzy flesh around the toy’s launch in October, but until then – if anyone’s got to play with one, let me know what you thought of it

The toys will be available from thetoyshop.com for £59.99 from mid October.
