Driving on the Ceiling with the Zero Gravity Micro RC Car

On first look you’d be forgiven for thinking the Zero Gravity Micro is like most other palm sized remote control cars. It can drive on most level surfaces including kitchen floors, laminate flooring, wall and roofs. Yes you read that correct the Zero gravity Micro can drive on walls and ceiling.

This highly maneuverable RC car is capable of driving across any smooth surface without falling off and crashing below. The integrated Venturi suction system work a bit like a vacuum cleaner, creating enough down force to keep it stuck securely to the wall. Add to that two performance modes for regular driving the right way round or flick the switch to extreme for some upside down action.

The Zero Gravity Micro RC can transmit on 4 frequencies for extreme upside down racing against friends. Powered by a rechargeable battery, simply plug the car in, charge and off you go. For you worried about the car falling off the ceiling once the battery is drained, worry not the headlights start flashing when the battery is low.

James Bond Alfa Romeo and Aston Martin

Don’t get too excited because they aren’t out yet…but soon you can get the latest James Bond model cars from the Quantum of Solace film. The Alfa Romeo 159 and, of course, James Bond’s Aston Martin DBS can be yours from Forbidden Planet – pity they are 1/43 of the size…but one day I’ll have the real thing, you just wait.

The film is due for release in November this year, and Minichamps have only just announced the launch of this 2 car set. These highly detailed diecast models will be available from Forbidden Planet shortly after the film’s launch, and just in time for Christmas

Speed Racer GO! Slot Cars

As the hype around the new Wachowski movie heats up it was only a matter of time before the electric slot car set was released. The GO! Speed Racer slot car racing system is produced by Carrera and is available later in the month. The set includes the Mach 5 and Racer X Street vehicles, both with working LED front lights. The track measures 6.3 metres with exciting loop-the-loops and flyovers.
