The Solomon Shire Rocking Horses are individually handcrafted using traditional methods, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, and high quality workmanship.

He is a traditional rocking horse on a secure swinging stand.  His saddle is softly padded for comfort and his reins and adjustable brass stirrups provide safety and security. Solomon has a decorative brow band, detachable blinkers and even a rosette.

Winners of the Oppenheim <a href="http://www.toyhype.co.uk"  class="alinks_links" onclick="return alinks_click(this);" title=""  rel="external">Toy</a> Portfolio 2009 Platinum Award and The National Parenting Center’s 2009 Seal of Approval, among other acclamations, we have been desperate to try these out.  For those of you who haven&#8217;t heard of them, Sprig toys are an eco-friendly, pre-school range that harness kinetic energy so light up, and make sounds without the need for batteries!  </p>
<p>Made from a child-safe, bio-composite material made from recycled wood and reclaimed plastic, the toys are affordable designed to encourage outdoor play with a range that includes an Excavator, Loader and Dump Truck. In and out of fame over the last 30 years, it has featured in several modern music tracks, including David Bowie’s Space Oddity.</p>
<p>The Stylophone is now being featured regularly on BBC Radio 1’s Chris Moyles Show and Chris has just this morning learned how to play some Take That songs.  Whether you love it, or find it the most annoying thing on the planet to work, the Stylophone is once again enjoying a cult comeback.</p>
<p>Its current design hasn’t changed much since its original incarnation, the new Stylophone has a vibrato and pitch change feature as well as the ability to plug in your ipod and play along to your favourite songs.</p>
