He’s in stock and on a video - I’m so excited I’m hopping up and down as I attempt to write this! The kind boys at Firebox have given us a video of the crazy Sesame Street muppet in action, and have announced that they will have him in stock by Thursday of this week. Prezzybox are already selling him here, so there is a chance you can get him even sooner! The excitement is almost too much to bare…If I’m this excitable now, just think what I’m like on Christmas eve!

It’s that time of year again, but who can be afraid of witches and bats when their Nici characters look such cute?! There are 5 adorable creatures in Nici’s new Halloween range: Samantha the Witch, Sir Simon the Bat, Samuel the Cat, and Silvio the Raven.

The 15cm sound toys make spooky laughing noises when you press their tummies. I love Samuel the Cat who has a pink nose and a missing eye. If you know someone who could use a lucky black cat, he’s the perfect choice.

In celebration of our fantastic Remote Control Helicopter competition, we’ve gone on the hunt for the best RC toys around - and this one is going to take some beating. The love child of a Robot inventor and one of the Transformers‘ artists, MechRC Robot is the most interactive, programmable robot toy we can find. He features over 100 pre-installed motions and sounds, and can be easily programmed on your computer. The best part is, all of your PC interaction is with an animated film strip - it doesn’t get much easier!

I don’t care if it isn’t Christmas for another 99 days (ish, who’s counting…) but I want Santa to bring me one of these! The latest incarnation of Sesame Street’s Elmo is as alive as you could make him. Elmo’s mouth opens and closes just like the ‘real’ muppet when he talks, and his mannerisms are…well I believe it’s the real Elmo in the video - but you tell me what you think.

He sits down, crosses his legs, tells stories and jokes, sings and even hugs you. Hopefully we’ll get one to review in the fuzzy flesh around the toy’s launch in October, but until then - if anyone’s got to play with one, let me know what you thought of it
